Steamrollers Roll Into 2025-2026 Season

The San Jose Steamrollers’ return to the pitch in September 2025 started off with two familiar faces joining the roster once again: former Team USA athlete brothers Omar and Jairo Solorio. It is an opportune, welcome sight for our team as we resolve to rekindle our past dominance from spring 2020 when the renowned brothers last competed in Steamroller jerseys. Their insightful expertise in the game is especially invaluable in restoring our offensive strengths to reclaim the glory as a goal scoring powerhouse plus offering coaching from a player-centric perspective.

History of San Jose Power Soccer

Power soccer is a competitive sport for disabled individuals who use power wheelchairs to attack, defend and spin-kick an oversized soccer ball in attempt to score goals. Power Soccer is designed and developed specifically for power wheelchair users. These participants include people with quadriplegia, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, head trauma, stroke, spinal cord injury, and other disabilities.
